Studs & Such

NO you guys don’t understand, the entire book is like this. They tried to cram in all sorts of representation of different races and the art is gorgeous and it’s GREAT! The picture for a spellcaster is a female human who is wearing BAGGY, NON-SEXUALIZED CLOTHING AND NO MAKEUP because she’s in a dungeon, she doesn’t have time to do her hair cmon.
Also this:

I should also point out that the team at Wizards working with Magic the gathering is doing amazing as well. In their previous set, Theros, the main character was a woman with practical armor, a well developed story and amazing god-slaying-powers.
Also, Khans of Tarkir, their latest set, features 3 female Khans out of 5, none of them being sexualized.

During the Khans of Tarkir worldbuilding panel they also stated that this was a conscious decision because of they feel that women are misinterpreted in fantasy. Seriously, this is why I love wizards.
